AGL Resources Inc. announced the appointment of Kristin M. Kamm to the position of CIO. Kamm will report to Susan A. McLaughlin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of AGL Resources. Kamm comes to AGL Resources from BellSouth, where she served as CIO, Consumer and Interconnect Services. “We are very pleased to have Kristin join our executive team,” said McLaughlin. “Her leadership in enhancing AGL’s technology platform will be instrumental to our business growth, and her experience in managing information systems, business/technology alignment and change management is a welcome addition.”

NorthWestern Corp. reported on Tuesday that Eric R. Jacobsen, vice president, general counsel and chief legal officer, has been appointed to the additional position of COO of NorthWestern Growth Corp., NorthWestern’s strategic development and private investment entity. “We are pleased to have someone of Eric’s experience available to provide additional leadership for NorthWestern Growth as it continues to expand,” said Merle D. Lewis, NorthWestern’s CEO. Lewis said Jacobsen will work closely with Daniel K. Newell, managing director of and chief executive officer of NorthWestern Growth. Richard R. Hylland, president of NorthWestern, said, “In addition to his current duties as chief legal advisor to NorthWestern’s Board of Directors and the senior management of NorthWestern and its partner entities, Eric has the background in strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, financing and capital markets to continue NorthWestern Growth’s record of investing growth capital and business development.” NorthWestern Corp. provides services and solutions to more than 2 million customers across America in the energy and communications sectors.
