The international natural gas trade, powered by LNG, grew 5% in 2022 year/year and represented more than half of all global gas activity, according to the latest Statistical Review of World Energy.

The benchmark annual report was published for the first time this year by the Energy Institute (EI) with consultancies KPMG and Kearny. BP plc had authored the key energy report since the 1950s.
