Is RNG Net Zero?

It depends on the feed source. RNG produced from landfills tends to have a positive carbon intensity factor, but still one that is considerably lower than that from other fossil fuels such as crude oil and coal. On the other hand, RNG sourced from dairy and swine farms carry carbon intensity scores that are considerably negative. As a result, we expect significant investment in these animal farms over the next decade.
