Global natural gas demand is set to expand at a slower pace over the coming years, with most of the growth coming from China and other emerging Asian markets, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said Tuesday.

In its latest medium-term gas market forecast, the global energy watchdog said it expects worldwide demand to rise every year by 1.6% on average between 2022 and 2026, down from 2.5% between 2017 and 2021.
