Honeoye Storage Corp.announced Friday it is inviting offers for firm gas storage service (FSS) from its facility in Ontario County, NY for the current storage season. This storage service is being offered at market-based rates.

Interested parties can submit offers until noon CCT on July 11 for FSS service beginning on July 12 and ending on April 30, 2008.

“Up to 50 MDth of firm service is available for a contract term ending on April 30, 2008,” said David A. T. Donohue, Honeoye Storage president. “Injections may begin on July 12, 2007. This service will have a maximum daily injection rate of 3,000 Dth/d from July 12, 2007 to Nov. 1, 2007.”

The service will have a maximum withdrawal rate of 1,000 Dth/d from March 21, 2008, through March 31, 2008; and 3,000 Dth/d from April 1, 2008 through April 30, 2008. Honeoye will provide all required cushion gas. Full details of the offering are to be found at www.honeoyestorage.com.

The Honeoye Field, located south of Rochester, NY, began operations in 1975. The facility interconnects with Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) at the TGP valve location #236. Customers committing to Honeoye FSS will need to provide for their own transportation arrangements to and from the TGP/Honeoye valve #236 interconnection.

The Honeoye facility is owned by an affiliate of KeySpan Energy Corp., Consolidated Energy Co. of New York, Inc, and its three developers: Donohue, Dick Norman and Jacek Makowski.
