First LNG production from the Tangguh Train 3 project is targeted to start next month after several years of delays, according to Indonesia’s energy regulator SKK Migas.

SKK Migas spokesperson Hudi Suryodipuro told news media last week that first LNG from the train is expected in the second week of September.

The BP plc-led project has been slowed by the impact of Covid-19, said Kpler Analyst Adam Bennett.
