Duke Energy Gas Transmission has named Tom O’Connor, TheopolisHoleman, Dorothy Ables and Richard Kruse to new positions as seniorvice presidents. This new market-oriented executive team willreport to Robert B. Evans, president of Duke Energy GasTransmission, and will be responsible for the management of DukeEnergy’s interstate natural gas pipelines.

“With the addition of East Tennessee Gas Pipeline and newprojects such as Buccaneer, we are pleased to promote and recognizethe talent in our organization as well as make the appropriatechanges needed to serve the market,” Evans said.

Tom O’Connor, senior vice president, marketing and capacitymanagement, will head a team comprised of Guy Buckley, vicepresident, electric market and project development, includingprojects such as the Buccaneer Pipeline Project in Florida; GregRizzo, vice president, marketing; and Gregg McBride, vicepresident, capacity management. Greg Harper continues as generalmanager, marketing, with the additional role of vice president,marketing for East Tennessee Natural Gas Company and will report toRizzo.

Theopolis Holeman, as senior vice president, transmission andengineering, will oversee Steve Horton, vice president, engineeringand environmental affairs; Fulkra Mason, general manager, systemplanning; Greg Bilinski, vice president, gas transmission; and JoeDi Stefano, project director.

Dorothy Ables, as senior vice president, finance andadministration and chief financial officer for Gas Transmission,will head a team including: Alan Harris, vice president,controllers and strategic planning who will take on the additionalrole of treasurer; Jim Pruett, vice president, human resources,energy transmission; Steve Craft, general manager, informationservices; and Gail Schutz, director, public affairs.

Richard Kruse, as senior vice president, industry initiatives,pricing and regulatory affairs, will oversee the work of DaveAbbott, director, joint venture projects; David McCallum, director,rates and tariffs; John Smith, director, pricing; and StevenTillman, director — regulatory affairs.
