The stage was set Tuesday for competition between two Canadian pipeline giants to transport natural gas supply to a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the northern Pacific coast of British Columbia (BC).

TC Energy Corp. and Enbridge Inc. could compete for the transportation deal to serve Ksi Lisims LNG’s proposed project. Both have pipeline projects left over from a previous round of competition to serve a Prince Rupert site that became dormant after LNG Canada selected a Kitimat terminal location.
