Natural gas forward prices notched another week of gains as earlier weather outlooks remained supportive and short covering continued. Strong liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports added to the momentum for part of the Sept. 13-18 period until cash prices weakened and signs of cooler temperatures began showing up in forecasts.
