Operator Williams Field Services (WFS) said the Opal Plant did not reach full production at the projected time Tuesday due to a delay in the turnaround time from a shutdown. Thus it was necessary to curtail nominations for Wednesday’s gas day to make up for the previous day’s shortfalls to downstream pipes, WFS said. LaBarge Compressor Station remained down, it added, and Enterprise “had issues at Bridger Station, which resulted in a significantly reduced volume to the inlet of Opal Plant.” There was no estimated time for Bridger Station start-up, WFS said Wednesday.

Columbia Gas said Wednesday it was issuing a force majeure effective until further notice in association with an interruption of service related to the rupture of a short segment last Thursday that has created an inability to flow gas on the line in the southern portion of Lawrence County, KY. The pipeline previously had expected to complete repairs by last Saturday. As of Wednesday shippers utilizing capacity on Line P would begin experiencing reductions based on priority of service as Columbia reduced line capacity to zero until further notice. See the bulletin board for a list of affected meters.

Saying it will continue planned and unplanned engine repairs at various compressor stations along the Southeast Mainline (SEML), ANR reported this schedule of total SEML capacity reductions from a base of 1,310 MMcf/d: 335 MMcf/d through Friday; 430 MMcf/d Saturday; 335 MMcf/d Sept. 19-28 and 100 MMcf/d Sept. 29-30. “Based on current nominations, it is anticipated that the above reductions may result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT services,” ANR said.

Alliance said it is accepting nominations for the new Septimus BC58 receipt station, which it placed into commercial service Tuesday.
