Due to anticipated colder temperatures and in order to maintain linepack, Tennessee said an OFO Action Alert will become effective Sunday “for all LMS-PA Balancing Parties (including SA contracts acting as balancing parties), LMS-MA and LMS-PL Balancing Parties with meters located in Zones 4, 5 and 6.” Affected shippers are limited to an imbalance tolerance of 2% or 500 Dth, whichever is greater.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide low-inventory OFO beyond Thursday.

TGT reported being notified that receipts from DCP Midstream‘s Champlin Plant at the Carthage Hub in East Texas “are expected to be available, on a limited basis,” starting Friday. “Due to the uncertainty of the plant’s start-up, please contact your supplier or DCP Midstream with any questions regarding the availability of your supplies,” TGT told customers.

Transco said Thursday it was in the process of mitigating the formation of a hydrate, or ice plug, in its line upstream of the South Timbalier 300 platform offshore Louisiana. Transco said it expected to take 36 to 48 hours to return the line to normal operation, and seven meters should remain shut in until the operators get specific authorization from pipeline personnel to resume flow.

ANR said Thursday the Eugene Island 238 meter had been successfully inspected and cleared for nominations. Eighteen other locations remain unavailable for service as the pipeline continues its inspection of all remaining offshore Louisiana facilities for Hurricane Ike damage, ANR said.
