Florida Gas Transmission lifted Thursday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect for the previous two days.

Due to inventory balancing issues between its Bear Creek and Muldon storage facilities, Southern Natural Gas will be reducing the capacity of its West of Onward segment (Group 46) from 336,930 Dth/d to 285,880 Dth/d effective with Timely Cycle nominations Friday.

Because scheduled maintenance on Bistineau Compressor Station’s Unit #4 (see Daily GPI, July 19) has been extended again through Aug. 10, Gulf South has rescheduled work on the station’s Unit #3 to begin Aug. 13. The maintenance on each unit could reduce injections at the Bistineau storage facility in northwest Louisiana by as much as 100,000 Dth/d. Withdrawals are not affected.

Saying that Overthrust Pipeline expansion work was being completed ahead of schedule, Questar returned affected points on its system to normal capacity effective with Cycle 2 nominations Wednesday. The work had been expected to last through Thursday (see Daily GPI, July 30).
