Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day for customers in its market area into at least its fourth day Thursday and further tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 20% to 15%.

Due to work on an unforeseen engine outage at Joliet (IL) Compressor Station, ANR reduced capacity at the NGPL-Joliet Interconnect to 70,000 Dth/d through the end of Friday’s gas day. Based on current nominations, ANR anticipates that the reduction may result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT nominations at the interconnect.

Based on projected system conditions for Southern Natural Gas and Petal Gas Storage, Southern began limiting Thursday the amount of interruptible nominations that it will accept for delivery to Petal until further notice. The quantity of delivery nominations that will be accepted is limited to the quantity of scheduled receipts from Petal, Southern said, so effectively it will be able to make deliveries to Petal only by displacement.

TGT will reduce capacity through Sharon Compressor Station in North Louisiana to 500,000 MMBtu/d during maintenance scheduled for Aug. 7-12.
