Freeport LNG on Thursday was poised to take feed gas to levels not seen since before an explosion and fire knocked the plant offline last June, according to data tracked by NGI. 

Feed gas nominations made during Wednesday’s evening cycle for the March 30 gas day showed that Freeport LNG Development LP had scheduled 1.9 Bcf/d of natural gas deliveries for production of the super-chilled fuel, according to NGI’s U.S. LNG Export Tracker.  

If those deliveries are realized, Freeport would utilize 76% of the pipeline capacity feeding the liquefied natural gas terminal, a level roughly in line with normal operations before the blast last year, said NGI markets analyst Josiah Clinedinst.
