TotalEnergies SE and Switzerland-based energy supplier MET Group said Friday they’ve secured regasification capacity at the new offshore LNG import terminal at Lubmin on Germany’s Baltic Sea coast.

TotalEnergies said it is now one of Germany’s main liquefied natural gas suppliers, while MET Group said the capacity would allow it to fulfill agreements signed with major municipal utilities and large industrial companies. 

TotalEnergies delivered the Neptune, one of the company’s two floating storage and regasification units (FSRU), to the terminal in December that is operated by Deutsche ReGas.
