Citing significant market-area demand, Florida Gas Transmissionissued an Overage Alert Day notice Tuesday with 6% tolerance fornegative daily imbalances. The notice will remain in effect untilfurther notice.

Transwestern declared a force majeure Tuesday after experiencinga line leak at the Highland Crawford Station in West Texas. Stationthroughput of 27 MMcf/d was taken to zero but shippers were able todivert their gas to El Paso, a spokeswoman said. The outage wasexpected to last at least through today’s gas day.

El Paso will hold a meeting today in Houston on its Line No. 2000Project as scheduled (see Daily GPI,Aug. 4). However, due to limited response for similar meetings inPhoenix and Los Angeles, they have been replaced by a teleconferencecall to be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. MDT. Westcoast seeks expressions of interest from shippers desiringTransmission Service-Northern (“T-North service”) through its Zone3 facilities beginning Nov. 1, 2001. Depending on results, thepipeline intends to issue 10-year Expansion Service Agreements tosuch shippers. Subject to regulatory approval, rates will becalculated on a rolled-in basis.
