The United States has the most attractive market for renewable energy investment following the Biden Administration’s plan to transition to a lower-carbon power grid as part of the $2.25 trillion American Jobs Plan, according to rankings data from IHS Markit.

The rankings put the United States in the number one spot for the period ending December 2020 based on market fundamentals and the availability of “an attractive support scheme”. It also took the top spot for investment attractiveness for wind and solar.
