WhiteWater Midstream and MPLX LP have substantially completed a major natural gas pipeline expansion in the Permian Basin, with commissioning expected to begin this month.

The 1.8 Bcf/d Agua Blanca expansion is on track to be brought fully online in early 2021, according to the joint venture (JV) partners. The system is connected to almost 20 gas processing sites in the Delaware sub-basin of the Permian and is currently transporting gas to the Waha hub for production from Culberson, Loving, Reeves, Pecos, Winkler and Ward counties in Texas, as well as in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico.

Agua Blanca also would connect to the 90% subscribed Whistler natural gas pipeline being developed by WhiteWater, MPLX and a JV between Infrastructure Partners and West Texas Gas Inc. The...
