Venture Global LNG Inc. is working on design adjustments to its proposed Delta LNG export terminal in Louisiana, including potentially boosting capacity and adjusting its pipeline to better compete for feed gas supply, according to federal filings.

In a pre-filing status update to FERC, the company said it was preparing a series of updates it planned to file by March outlining a few substantial changes to the Delta liquefied natural gas project. Chief among them is the addition of 584 acres secured from the Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District it plans to use for a related carbon capture and sequestration project.
