Algonquin said requests for service had decreased enough that it was able to lift all restrictions through the Cromwell (CT) Compressor Station Thursday. A limited amount of due-shipper imbalance make-up gas is available, the pipeline said. However, it added that forecasts indicate a protracted period of cold weather settling into the Algonquin service area, during which it will be particularly important that shippers balance receipts and deliveries.

Due to forecasted colder temperatures, East Tennessee Natural Gas will implement restrictions Friday on Secondary receipts upstream of Stations 3104 and 3205 and on Secondary deliveries downstream of Station 3313. In addition, ETNG will implement its Maximum Allowable Delivery Service (MAD), which allows unauthorized overrun charges for exceeding MAD.

Northwest reported shutting in the Questar Redwash receipt point, effective last Tuesday until further notice, due to substandard gas quality. Gas being received at Redwash was exceeding Northwest’s tariff maximum specification of 15 degrees F. in its hydrocarbon dew point, Northwest said.

Bids are due by 10 a.m. CST Friday (Jan. 10) for 10,000 MMBtu/d of Limited FT service on Transwestern for the Jan. 11-31 period. Gas would be received at Bloomfield Compressor Station or other Blanco Hub receipt points, and moved to delivery points in either the West of Thoreau or East of Thoreau segments. The “Limited” part of the service means Transwestern has the right not to schedule service in whole or in part on up to one day during the term.
