CenterPoint (formerly Reliant) declared a systemwide Critical Period effective Saturday until further notice, saying it required shippers and pool managers “to stay in balance and have adequate supplies to meet deliveries.”

Sonat declared force majeure after experiencing an unscheduled outage of the Main Pass 311A line offshore Louisiana. The Main Pass 311A and 311B receipt points, along with Main Pass 301, 311A Buy Back and 311B Buy Back, were impacted. Sonat kept markets whole for Thursday’s intraday 2 cycle but said the five points would be cut to protected quantities on Friday’s intraday 1 cycle and to zero for Saturday’s gas day until further notice.

Kern River is not scheduling Secondary firm, AOS and IT service for Monday through Thursday because the Veyo Compressor Station will be unavailable for up to 48 hours due to “Expansion 2003”-related tie-in work. No impact to Primary firm quantities is expected during this work. However, Kern River requested that there be absolutely no drafting starting Monday.
