Effective with the start of Tuesday’s gas day, MRT is posting a System Protection Warning subject to these conditions: (1) MRT will not schedule any Main Line IT, AOR (authorized overrun) or imbalance volumes for delivery north of Glendale, AR; (2) firm volumes will be limited to their primary direction of flow; (3) MRT is not accepting short imbalance positions; and (4) shippers may not nominate supply from existing long imbalance positions. Saying it has capacity available on the East Line, MRT urged shippers who were relying on Main Line IT, AOR and/or imbalance volumes to re-source supply to the East Line or reduce applicable delivery volumes in order to avoid OFOs.

Matagorda Island Offshore System will be pigging 66.5 miles of its 24-inch line from the Mustang Island 758 platform to the onshore Tivoli Station in South Texas from Dec. 3 through Dec. 8. Effective with Sunday’s Cycle 4 nominations, capacity on Line 1102 between Plains and Eunice rose to 210 MMcf/d, and finishing the turbine work allowed North Mainline capacity to be increased 115 MMcf/d.

Destin notified all shippers who fail to make an election to process their “liquefiables” from gas received at the Main Pass 261 that effective Dec. 1 and until further notice, the gas will be processed under Destin’s agreement with the BP-operated Pascagoula (MS) Plant. The pipeline will assess to such shippers their allocated shares of plant thermal reduction (PTR) and credit them with an allocated share of revenues received by Destin for the liquefiables. “Shippers will be required to provide the estimated PTR of 2.3% on a current basis,” a bulletin board posting said. “The plant owners estimate that there will be no revenues associated with the processing of gas for said liquefiables.”

Based on nominations, receipt volumes east of Fidlar Station may be scheduled. Questar will not accept imbalance nominations from the impacted area.
