Florida Gas Transmission ended Thursday an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area that had been in effect since July 27.

Line 1204 repairs were not completed Thursday morning as expected, El Paso said, and thus a North Mainline capacity reduction of 600 MMcf/d was continued through at least Cycle 3 of Thursday’s gas day. Because of the Line 1204 delay, Line 1200 modifications scheduled for Thursday were postponed one day, which will cause a 165 MMcf/d reduction of North Mainline capacity Friday. Bowie Station turbine repairs will continue through Aug. 15, reducing capacity of the South Mainline at Waha by 50 MMcf/d.

Northwest reminded Jackson Prairie storage customers that they must have a minimum of 80% of working gas inventory in place by Aug. 31 and that accounts must be 100% full by Sept. 30. “To ensure that the full use of your working gas quantity is available for the upcoming storage cycle, it is important that the…benchmark percentages outlined above be met and maintained to avoid the standard reduction of usage as outlined in Northwest Pipeline’s FERC Gas Tariff,” a bulletin board posting said.

ANR said Thursday it has completed maintenance at its Marshfield (WI) Compressor Station and a 30 MMcf/d constraint on receipt capacity from Viking was lifted. The pipeline previously had expected the work to run through Friday (see Daily GPI, July 30).
