Sonat is implementing an OFO Type 6 Tuesday. Tiered penalties ranging from $1/Dth to $15/Dth will apply to net short imbalances on its contiguous system exceeding a tolerance of 2% or 200 dekatherms, whichever is less. In addition, Sonat notified shippers in several system groups Sunday that it would be allocating/limiting interruptible capacity starting either Monday or Tuesday, depending on the group. Citing forecasted cold weather, MRT posted a System Protection Warning (SPW) that took effect Monday. See the bulletin board for the warning’s conditions. Failure to comply may result in shippers being issued individual OFOs at any time within the SPW period, MRT said.

Southern California Gas extended Saturday’s high-linepack OFO through Sunday, then lifted it Monday.

Due to rising linepack, NOVA changed its imbalance tolerance range to 0/-4% Sunday but restored the normal +4%/-4% range Monday.

Westcoast, which as recently as Sunday had imbalance tolerances of 20% pack and zero draft due to insufficient linepack, has swung entirely in the other direction. Tolerances of zero pack and 20% draft were in effect for Monday and Tuesday.

Tennessee will install a tee-tap assembly in the Wednesday-Friday period on the Raymondville Line in Willacy County, TX, to facilitate a new meter connection. For about eight hours during this period, expected to be on Thursday, physical flow will be suspended at 10 meters.
