Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a high-inventory OFO beyond Wednesday.

Northern Natural Gas said that as of Wednesday it is unable to schedule IDD (interruptible) storage injections “to the extent that they create or increase a positive inventory balance until further notice.” NNG said it took the action after reviewing current and future storage inventory obligations in light of a force majeure at its Lyons, KS facility (see Daily GPI, Aug. 20).

Sea Robin Pipeline has notified Columbia Gulf that it will perform Sept. 14-21 maintenance at the Sea Robin-Erath interconnect. During this time Columbia Gulf will not accept nominations above 100,000 Dth/d at the point.

CIG reported implementing a new “choke (constraint) point” Wednesday on its Uintah Lateral to control east-to-west flow from the Greasewood Compressor Station to Sand Springs, Little Horse and other points farther west on the lateral. The new choke point, called Greasewood West, is just west of Dark Canyon, CIG said. It reminded shippers that a Strained Operating Condition affecting the Uintah Lateral that began in May (see Daily GPI, May 18) is still in effect.
