Pacific Gas & Electric issued a system-wide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. Penalties were $1/Dth for exceeding a positive imbalance tolerance of 3%.

The operator of the Sabine Plant in southwestern Louisiana has informed Tennessee and Transco that the schedule of a plant shutdown for repairs has been revised. The work is now set to begin at 9 a.m. CDT Tuesday and run through Saturday. Previously it had been planned for June 27-30 (see Daily GPI, June 23). Transco will not accept nominations at the UTOS Enron Plant meter during the project.

In a previous posting Transco had said it would not allow receipts at the Pleasant Valley interconnect with Cove Point Pipeline during pig runs scheduled for Tuesday and July 13 on 61 miles of Main Line “C” between Stations 180 and 190 (see Daily GPI, June 10). However, in an update Friday, Transco said current operating conditions will allow acceptance of Pleasant Valley nominations for Tuesday’s run. It will evaluate operating conditions in advance of July 13 before making a determination on the second pig run.
