Flagstaff (AZ) Station’s #1 compressor has suffered mechanical damage, making the station inoperable until further notice because the necessary replacement parts have not been located yet, El Paso said. Reductions of North Mainline capacity due to the Flagstaff outage coupled with other maintenance that is ongoing or planned through May 14 will fluctuate between 125 MMcf/d and 215 MMcf/d. See the bulletin board for details.

Transwestern noted that Southern Star Central (formerly Williams) has posted a web site notice stating that effective May 1, Southern Star will not confirm scheduled quantities at the Canadian River interconnect between it and Transwestern due to carbon dioxide levels above Southern Star’s tariff limit of 1%. Transwestern said it continues to work with Southern Star to have this limit lifted. Meanwhile, Transwestern will continue to accept shipper nominations for the Canadian River delivery point despite Southern Star’s intent not to confirm such quantities. “Transwestern will also work with any shippers that would like to realign their primary delivery points to another delivery point,” it said. Transwestern noted that its tariff specifies a carbon dioxide limit of 2.0%, and that the average content has been 1.7% on the San Juan Lateral and 1.3% on the Panhandle Lateral.

Dominion said Thursday that in order to coordinate its planned reduction of volumes on the TL-263 segment (see Daily GPI, April 29) with that of Columbia Gas, it must ask shippers to begin curtailments at noon Friday rather than the May 1 gas day as previously posted.

Sonat experienced an unscheduled outage at its Logansport (LA) Compressor Station that requires a cut in interruptible receipt (A-1 and/or IT) capacity on the upstream 14-inch Logansport Line until further notice.

Beginning with the timely cycle (cycle 1) for Friday’s gas day, Questar will accept up to 50,000 Dth/d in delivery nominations to Northwest at Crossover 16. Any allocated volumes will be scheduled according to Questar’s tariff Priority of Service.
