Sonat reported being notified that Enterprise Operating Partners LLC is delaying until further notice an outage of its Toca 1 processing plant in southeast Louisiana. The outage had previously been set to begin April 17 and last two to three weeks (see Daily GPI, April 8). Sonat planned to post a message about new PVR loss percentages on its bulletin board last Friday.

TGT has scheduled a semi-annual shut-in test of its Midland, KY storage field for April 19-30. During that time NNS and FSS customers are asked to limit maximum daily injections and withdrawals as provided in Section 15.1(k) of the General Terms and Conditions of the pipeline’s tariff. TGT will shut down its Henry Hub receipt point while the Lafayette-Erath 26-inch line is out of service for maintenance April 19-26.

Kern River began taking competitive bids Thursday for 90,000 Dth/d of KRF-1 firm incremental 2003 Expansion Project transportation capacity that will become available in June 2004 as a result of a contract being terminated in a bankruptcy proceeding. It’s the same package that was posted in February (see Daily GPI, Feb. 18) and has the same specifications, according to a spokeswoman. Kern River was unable to get anyone to meet its minimum bid requirements in the earlier auction, so the pipeline has been selling the capacity since then on an interruptible basis but is taking another stab at trying to market it as firm, she said. The current bid deadline is noon MDT May 18. Call Candace Karpakis at (801) 937-6196 for more information.
