Only two days after announcing completion of repairs at Olga Compressor Station in southeast Louisiana (see Daily GPI, March 30), Sonat said Wednesday it had experienced a new unscheduled outage at Olga that again requires a reduction in interruptible receipt (A-1 and/or IT) capacity on the 26-inch Main Pass Area line until further notice.

Northwest is requiring customers of its Plymouth LNG and Jackson Prairie storage facilities to provide in writing a 2004 schedule of injections. The Plymouth LNG schedule will cover the April 1-Oct. 31 period. Northwest recommended that because of Plymouth LNG’s maximum injection rate of 12,540 Dth/d, injections should commence as early as possible. The Jackson Prairie schedules are due by May 1 and cover the May 1-Sept. 30 period. Northwest provided this set of suggested fill percentages: June 30, minimum of 35% of total contract demand; Aug. 31, minimum of 80% of total contract demand; and Sept. 30, 100% full.

Gulf South said Wednesday it is performing unscheduled maintenance on Carthage Station’s #2 unit until further notice, which could affect as much as 15 MMcf/d of capacity out of East Texas.
