Sonat reported being informed Monday morning that the Enterprise processing plant in southeast Louisiana was off-line due to electrical problems at a downstream liquids handling facility. Initial assessments indicated that the outage would last for only a few hours, the pipeline said, but the plant did not come back online until early Tuesday. As a result, Sonat experienced significantly higher than normal levels of heavy hydrocarbons on its South Louisiana Supply System. The richer gas stream was expected to begin working its way into market areas as early as Tuesday. Most of the impact will be at primary delivery points on the South Main Line, but some North Main Line points also could see elevation in the level of heavier hydrocarbons, Sonat said.

NGPL said it has begun repairs, expected to take two to four weeks, at Compressor Station 302 north of Houston. The station was flooded over the weekend. The pipeline expects no impact to shippers if nominations through the station do not rise above current levels.

Due to awaiting the arrival of repair parts, El Paso expects to extend Bondad B turbine maintenance through Thursday, reducing capacity through Bondad Station by 85 MMcf/d.

Physical injections and withdrawals will not be available during June 19-21 maintenance at Gulf South‘s Bistineau Storage Facility in North Louisiana. Nominations involving Bistineau meters will be scheduled to the extent that Gulf South can use other facilities to balance the system.
