MRT said Thursday it is not accepting any nominations thatcreate a short imbalance on its system, effective immediately.Currently short customers are expected to correct their position bythe end of the month and remain in balance. The pipeline remindedno-notice customers that they may change their no-notice option andallow storage withdrawals to eliminate any imbalance.

El Paso postponed a smart pig run on Line 1202 until today. Itraised San Juan Basin capacity to 2,850 MMcf/d for Thursday’s Cycle2 nominations, but will cut back today’s flows to 2,500 MMcf/d toaccommodate the pigging.

NGPL reports being notified that effective April 1, El PasoField Services will cease processing at four plants in South Texas.Citing the hazards of potential condensation of liquefiablehydrocarbons in its system, NGPL said it may need to take specialaction if efforts to blend receipts to acceptable are notsuccessful. It listed seven points that may be affected by the lackof EPFS processing.

Other pipelines have situations similar to Transco’s, whichreminded shippers that all states in which Transco operates willreturn at 2 a.m. Sunday to Daylight Savings Time from StandardTime. As a result, the March 31 pipeline day will be only 23 hourslong, so shippers were asked to adjust scheduled deliveries thatday over the 23-hour period.

KM Interstate has annual maintenance upcoming at thesecompressor stations: Casper, April 4-18, capacity impact of 20,000MMBtu/d; Big Springs, April 9-13, 30,000 MMBtu/d; Syracuse, April10-13, 2,000 MMBtu/d; and Laton, April 10-13, 20,000 MMBtu/d. Italso will perform unit automation April 23-May 25 at theLakin/Holcomb point, cutting capacity by 5,000 MMBtu/d.
