Unplanned maintenance at the SOE (Sable Offshore Energy) GasPlant has caused physical supply into Maritimes & Northeast todecrease temporarily, the pipeline said. Due to this, shippers areexpected to match physical volumes to nominated receipts, it added.However, the reduced throughputs have allowed M&N to lift ITrestrictions at the Baileyville (ME) Compressor Station.

Tennessee said Wednesday afternoon it now expects an unscheduledholding tank outage at the Cocodrie (LA) Compressor Station tocontinue until the middle of May, not until April 7 as previouslyposted (see Daily GPI, March 28).

There will be no flows May 1-4 on the Hugoton South B Line ofNorthern Natural Gas as the Hugoton (KS) Plant conducts its annualemergency shutdown (ESD) test and maintenance is performed on theplant and associated pipe. The work will affect 160,000 MMBtu/d at15 points. NNG has several maintenance outages planned duringApril. Zone D capacity will be limited to 680,000 MMBtu/d asEarlville Compressor Station shuts down April 17-18 for ESD testingand plant maintenance. Another significant impact of 15,000 MMBtu/dwill occur April 2-4 as the Beaver County #2 dehydration unit isrepaired. See the HotTap bulletin board for details on othersmaller projects.

On April 23, Panhandle Eastern plans to begin four days ofinternal in-line inspection on the Seiling segment of its Elk CityPipe Line from Elk City, OK to gate 4. Seiling capacity will be cutby 130,000 MMBtu/d during this time, but Panhandle said it willwork with point operators to minimize shipper impact during actualtool runs.

NGPL reports being notified that effective April 1, El PasoField Services will cease processing at four plants in South Texas.Citing the hazards of potential condensation of liquefiablehydrocarbons in its system, NGPL said it may need to take specialaction if efforts to blend receipts to acceptable are notsuccessful. It listed seven points that may be affected by the lackof EPFS processing.

Other pipelines have situations similar to Transco’s, in whichit reminded shippers Wednesday that all states in which Transcooperates will return at 2 a.m. Sunday to Daylight Savings Time fromStandard Time. As a result, the March 31 pipeline day will be only23 hours long, so shippers were asked to adjust scheduleddeliveries that day over the 23-hour period.
