Effective Saturday (Dec. 9) Northwest planned to move from itsthen-current Stage II (8%) Entitlement for delivery points north ofKemmerer (WY) Station to a Stage 1 (3%) Entitlement. Northwest saidit was taking the action to insure operational integrity “giventhat the system has been drafted for the last two days andextremely cold weather is predicted for most of Northwest’smarkets.”

Repairs to the rupture of the pipeline formerly known as Channeland now called the A-S Line by operator El Paso Energy Intrastate (seeDaily GPI, Dec. 6 and Dec. 7) were expected to be completed overthe weekend, an El Paso spokesman said. Testing will be done this weekbefore the affected segment returns to service, he said.

Florida Gas Transmission lifted a four-day Overage Alert Day noticeFriday. It also trimmed a list of interconnects that would be limitedin receipts as of Saturday because of high levels of hexane andheavier components (see Daily GPI, Dec. 8) from seven to four. The four stillto be restricted, along with total volume allowed, are: EGP-Cow IslandPlant, 20,000 MMBtu/d; Neumin Production-Moss Bluff, 5,000 MMBtu/d;Neumin No. Vinton/FGT, 5,000 MMBtu/d; and Neumin Prod/FGT PD, 5,000MMBtu/d.
