Tennessee will implement Imbalance Warnings in downstream market-area Zones 5 and 6 Saturday, saying it has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances there over what is predicted to be a cold long holiday weekend. All delivery point operators in the zones will be required to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position. Receipt point operators must keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position.

Due to high demand, Southern will begin allocating capacity Friday in 17 delivery groups on its system.

ANR said gas quality issues required it to shut in the Vermilion 379 meter offshore southwest Louisiana Thursday until further notice.

Unscheduled Greenville Compressor Station maintenance, which began Tuesday and was expected to be completed Friday (see Daily GPI, Jan. 10), has been extended through the start of Sunday’s gas day, Gulf South said. The pipeline also said it will keep nominations whole during meter station maintenance that is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. CST Tuesday at the Gulfstream Interconnect-Mobile Bay location.

Southern Star Central will reduce operational capacity to 150,000 Dth/d (about 39%) at Blackwell Compressor Station in its LS315 (Guymon Blackwell) segment Friday due to an unspecified force majeure event. Repairs are expected to take about four weeks with capacity returning to normal on Feb. 10, the pipeline said.
