Transco reported experiencing higher-than-normal water vapor content in South Texas on its 24-inch diameter mainline “A” from mainline valve 10A60 (Jim Wells County, TX) to mainline valve 20A10 (Victoria County, TX). Until Transco’s efforts to mitigate the water vapor content are successful, which it expects to occur in seven to 10 days, the Victoria DuPont and Gulf South Victoria meters will be unavailable.

Columbia Gas (TCO) will isolate and evacuate Line 1754 in its MA35 segment Thursday to replace 300 feet of pipeline that was damaged by longwall mining activity. Multiple consumer taps between Trussel Farm and Moss Farm on Line 1754 will be taken out of service that day, TCO said. It expects to take the line out of service again Oct. 14 for completion of tie-in work. There is a potential for impact to firm services at the Ullom-Blum #1 receipt meter due to its location on the span of the pipe, TCO said.
