Tennessee lifted Saturday evening an OFO Action Alert for meters on the 200 Line downstream of Station 249.

Rockies Express (REX) said around midday Sunday it was experiencing an outage due to mechanical issues with the Unit #2 power turbine at Mexico Compressor Station. Repair crews were mobilized and working to resolve the issue, REX said. However, later that day the pipeline declared a force majeure that will limit quantities through Segment 300 to 1,500,000 Dth/d until further notice. At this level of throughput, REX said, AOR/IT, secondary and primary FT quantities are at risk of not being fully scheduled.

After warning Sunday of a potential Strained Operating Condition (SOC) being declared due to excess drafting of its system, El Paso said Monday the probability of an SOC remained high due to low linepack. The pipeline had reported linepack falling below 7,250 MMcf Sunday and continuing to decrease “as a result of actual takes in excess of scheduled deliveries and underperformance at several supply locations.” Its Washington Ranch storage facility had experienced operational issues that delayed bringing the facility up to maximum withdrawal capability, El Paso said.

Southern said Saturday it had returned the Holy Trinity Compressor Station in southeast Alabama to service following an unscheduled outage that was announced Thursday.

Columbia Gas reported canceling a force majeure event Friday that occurred last Wednesday due to a pipeline leak that required taking Line PM-3 out of service. Flows were allowed to resume at 15 affected meters.

NGPL removed storage withdrawal restrictions Monday and said it also was lifting an Hourly Takes Advisory for the Market Delivery Zone. Both constraints had been posted last Friday.

Southern California Gas reported regaining a combined 50 MMcf/d of storage injection capacity Friday following maintenance completions at its Goleta and La Goleta facilities. However, it lost 30 MMcf/c of injection capacity that same day because of new work at the Olive Street facility that is expected to be finished Tuesday. Another 50 MMcf/d will be offline from Tuesday through Saturday due to installation of electronic check valves at Honor Rancho, the utility said.

ANR said it had shut in the South Marsh Island 184 receipt point offshore Louisiana due to gas quality issues, and effective last Saturday until further notice it was not accepting nominations for the point.

Gulf South has rescheduled in-line inspection pigging of its 12-inch diameter Index 287 segment (Projects I and II) in the New Orleans area for Aug. 16-25. See the bulletin board for a list of seven points that will either be required to shut in or allowed to flow during the Aug. 16-19 and Aug. 20-25 periods. The work previously had been set for Tuesday (July 26) through Aug. 4. Separate in-line inspection pigging on Index 287’s 16-inch diameter line is planned for Aug. 8-11 and will limit six other points to a collective total flow of 120 MMcf/d, Gulf South said. The pipeline also reported Friday that it had begun unplanned maintenance on Unit #2 at Olla Compressor Station that could reduce station capacity by as much as 175,000 Dth/d.
