Columbia Gulf said last week it had resumed taking nominations atthe NGPL-South Pecan Lake, NGPL-Erath, NGPL-Chalkley and AEP-JeffersonIsland meter stations. Receipts at those points and others weresuspended in late January because they failed to comply with ColumbiaGulf’s enforcement of a heating value limit of 1,050 Btus per cubicfoot (see Daily GPI, Jan. 22).

Reflecting growing linepack, NOVA changed its system imbalancetolerance range Thursday afternoon to 0/-20%.

Recalling that it had informed customers back in January thathigher than normal heating value content of gas flowing on its 500and 800 Lines was causing operational problems (see Daily GPI, Jan.24), Tennessee said Friday a combination of increased processingand moderation of winter temperatures has caused the problems tosubside to manageable levels. “Based on forecasted weather trendsand current gas processing activity, Tennessee does not foresee theneed to continue requiring gas flowing on or through either the 500or 800 Lines upstream of Station 860 that is above 1,050 Btus to becovered by downstream gas processing,” it said.
