Northwest is holding an open season through March 24 todetermine interest in additional long-term FT capacity on theGrants Pass Lateral and to solicit offers from existing shippersfor turnback of firm capacity rights on the lateral. About 260miles long, Grants Pass Lateral is currently fully contracted toserve markets in western Oregon between the Washougal CompressorStation near Portland and the terminus of the lateral near GrantsPass, OR. Recent inquiries for firm service combined with growthprojections indicate the lateral’s capacity will be inadequate by2003, Northwest said. The in-service target date for any potentialexpansion project resulting from the open season is Nov. 1, 2002.Call David Stevens at (801) 584-7101 or Patrick Aman at -6322 formore information.
