Chicago-area LDC Nicor Gas lifted Tuesday caps on deliveries into its system that had been in effect for weeks, saying storage injections at the Nicor Gas Hub would no longer be interrupted.

Southwest Gas issued a Stage 1 OFO, effective Monday until further notice, due to high linepack on upstream pipeline Kern River and packing of Southwest’s own system. See the bulletin board for OFO-related conditions. The Las Vegas-based LDC had cautioned about the possibility of an OFO when it recently declared a Hold Burn to Scheduled Quantities notice (see Daily GPI, April 13).

Baja Path capacity on Pacific Gas and Electric‘s California Gas Transmission system will be limited to 984 MMcf/d, or 86% of maximum capacity, Wednesday following an outage of Kettleman Compressor Station that occurred Monday and is continuing to restrict Baja volumes.

Rockies Express (REX) is declaring a force majeure event effective Wednesday after identifying a power cylinder head requiring replacement on a compressor at Echo Springs Booster Station. REX said Tuesday it was making arrangements to perform the replacement Wednesday and would reduce scheduled receipt quantities at PIN (Point Identification Number) 42760 to 100,000 Dth/d in Timely cycle nominations for Wednesday’s gas day. At this level of scheduling, AOR/IT, secondary and primary FT quantities are at risk of not being fully scheduled, the pipeline said.

TGT will reduce Youngsville East segment capacity Wednesday from 535,000 MMBtu/d to 350,000 MMBtu/d until further notice due to unscheduled maintenance east of its Youngsville (LA) Compressor Station. Based on current nomination, the reduction will affect Firm Primary deliveries in the segment, TGT said.

Delaying the previously scheduled start by one day, Transwestern said total capacity of 1,225,000 MMBtu/d in its Ash Fork West segment will be reduced Wednesday to about 700,000 MMBtu/d for three days due to a pipe replacement project at Station 1. This will impact 16 delivery points, the pipeline said, adding that Ash Fork West is scheduled to be restored to full capacity for Saturday’s gas day.

ANR reported resolving a gas quality issue Monday at the ELK CITY INT location in its Southwest Area Fuel Segment, but a similar issue was continuing at the GRIMES INT point.

Sea Robin Pipeline set capacity at its Southern Natural Gas interconnect to 200,000 Dth/d Tuesday.
