Southern Natural Gas said that based on forecasted supply and “historically low demand for the upcoming holiday weekend,” it will implement an OFO Type 6 for long imbalances Friday. Tiered penalties of $1-15/Dth will apply to positive daily imbalances exceeding 2% or 200 Dth, whichever is greater.

Affiliated pipelines Algonquin, Texas Eastern and Maritimes & Northeast said due to the long holiday weekend, effective Friday through Tuesday they will not allow any nominations for due-pipe imbalance makeups or creation of due-shipper imbalances.

Citing “limited operational flexibility, high storage levels and mild weather this holiday weekend,” Tennessee said a systemwide OFO Action Alert will become effective Saturday for all Balancing Parties. They will be required to maintain an actual daily flow rate not exceeding 5% above scheduled quantities or 500 Dth, whichever is greater, for overdeliveries into the system and undertakes from the system. See the bulletin board for other details.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide low-inventory OFO beyond Thursday.
