Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO on its California Gas Transmission system for Saturday. Noncompliance charges of $1/Dth were set for exceeding a relatively lenient positive imbalance tolerance of 18%.

With the Grand Chenier Gas Processing and Liquids Handling Facilities available again, Tennessee authorized 34 meters upstream of the plant to resume flows late Thursday once they have met the requirements of Tennessee’s meter reactivation process.

NGPL said work has been completed on the Illinois Lateral and the force majeure impacting capacity through Station 110 was to be lifted Sunday.

CIG said Friday a leak has been detected in the jumper compressor, which compresses CIG gas for delivery to Cheyenne Plains Pipeline. CIG, Cheyenne Plains and Wyoming Interstate Co. were working together to keep shippers’ confirmed scheduled quantities whole through Monday’s gas day, CIG said. “We are assessing the effort necessary to return the compressor to service,” it added.

TGT will reduce capacity of its Youngsville East segment in South Louisiana from 535,000 MMBtu/d to 475,000 MMBtu/d Tuesday due to unscheduled maintenance at the Youngsville Compressor Station. The work is tentatively expected to be completed in mid-October. Based on current nominations, the capacity reduction will affect Firm Primary deliveries in the segment, TGT said.

Kern River reminded customers of maintenance that is scheduled for Oct. 1-2 at its Coyote Creek and Dry Lake compressor stations, and said Questar maintenance set for Oct. 1-3 at its Oak Spring Compressor Station could impact operational capacity at Kern River’s Muddy Creek, Coyote Creek and Veyo compressor stations for the Oct. 3 gas day. The operator of the Jackson Prairie storage facility started an annual bottom-hole pressure test ahead of schedule (see Daily GPI, Sept. 23) and anticipated finishing the test by the end of Friday (Sept. 26), Northwest said. It reminded all SGS-2F shippers that they must have their required Working Gas Inventory in the facility as of Oct. 1 in order to maintain 100% of their Working Gas Quantity for the upcoming storage cycle.

Citing improved operating conditions in its Southeast Area, ANR resumed allowing interruptible loans under rate schedule IPLS (Interruptible Parking and Lending Service) Friday (see Daily GPI, Sept. 25).
