Sabine Pipe Line rescinded its force majeure at the start of Tuesday’s gas day for the Columbia Gulf/Henry Hub point and said all other Henry Hub and mainline points had been previously released and were available. Sabine was to start accepting Intraday 1 nominations for Columbia Gulf/Henry Hub at 5 p.m. CDT Tuesday. Compression remains unavailable at Henry Hub, Sabine noted, and thus nominations with hub or mainline receipt points will be accepted only to the extent that gas can be received at sufficient pressure to enable deliveries without compression or to the extent that scheduled receipts and deliveries at the same point are equal.

In a field zone operations update Tuesday, Trunkline said all of its Texas facilities are operational and operating at full capacity. In Louisiana the Centerville Compressor Station remains flooded and unavailable, while the Kaplan Compressor Station has one unit operational and the station’s physical capacity has been increased to 250,000 Dth/d. In addition, the Tennessee at Centerville, Gulf South Pipeline at Centerville and the TGC [Trunkline]-Sea Robin Interconnect have not been cleared for flow. Trunkline said preliminary inspections of the Terrebonne Offshore System indicate some damage has occurred that will limit a full return to service. Enterprise and CDM are reporting that their processing plants are ready to resume operations, the pipeline added.

Southern Natural Gas said Monday it was still working with Southeast Supply Header (SESH) to resolve gas quality issues related to the SESH startup process (see Daily GPI, Sept. 10). Southern said it was unable to schedule gas at the SESH interconnect for Tuesday’s gas day. Southern also added six points to a list of previously shut-in offshore locations that had been approved to resume flows.

Due to uncertainty in liquids processing capacities as a result of Hurricane Ike, Questar said it is notifying customers that there is a strong possibility that cricondentherm hydrocarbon dew point (CHDP) limits throughout its system will be reduced to minimum acceptable levels on short notice to limit liquids recovered at system processing plants. The possibility of this reduction will continue until liquids processing capacities return to normal conditions. “Customers are urged to be prepared for this short notice reduction and, in fact, to begin operating at reduced CHDP levels as soon as possible,” the pipeline said.

And in a notice on the Kern River bulletin board, Williams Field Services also cited the impacts of Ike in saying its customers may experience reduced flows depending on the natural gas liquids infrastructure status.

Columbia Gas said it will open an electronic data room Oct. 1 to provide information to gas producers, marketers and others potentially interested in subleasing production rights in four of its storage fields in Ohio. The fields, totaling approximately 61,800 acres, are Guernsey, located primarily in Guernsey County; Holmes, located primarily in Holmes County; Laurel, located primarily in Fairfield and Hocking counties; and Wayne, located primarily in Wayne County. Formal bids are due by 5 p.m. EDT Oct. 17. Interested persons may send inquiries to DataroomatNisource.com, or see the bulletin board for more information.
