Due to Tropical Storm Gustav, Destin Pipeline said effective with the start of Saturday’s gas day it will be unable to provide transportation services from offshore receipt points. This will be a force majeure event, Destin said, adding that its onshore receipt and delivery points will remain in operation.

Sea Robin Pipeline said an OFO for all offshore receipt points will become effective Saturday and remain in effect until operating conditions return to a normal range. A pigging operation that had begun Monday had produced such high levels of water and condensate that two processing plants were forced to shut down and this in turn prompted Sea Robin to shut in its system Wednesday (see Daily GPI, Aug. 28).

CIG reported experiencing an unexpected outage at its Elk Basin Compressor Station on the Big Horn Lateral. “At this time, significant repair work is anticipated prior to returning the station to full service,” CIG said. It estimated that repairs are likely to be completed on or about the end of the week of Oct. 13. The station’s operating capacity is 82 MMcf/d and, under current conditions, the outage is not impacting scheduling, CIG said.

Maritimes & Northeast U.S. said an outage at its Baileyville (ME) Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, Aug. 19), originally scheduled for completion Wednesday, has been delayed until Sunday.

“Weather conditions permitting,” Gulf South will begin about two days of scheduled maintenance Tuesday at its DIGS-MOBILE BAY meter facility, during which that receipt point will be unavailable for service.
