Noting that its linepack was “lower,” Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) issued an Overage Alert Day (OAD) for market-area customers Monday. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 25%. FGT also said customers should be aware of the potential for either another OAD or an Underage Alert Day (UAD) this week. Heavy rain is forecast in Florida for Tuesday through Thursday, the pipeline said, so it may need to issue a UAD if linepack levels become too high. “However, high temperatures and humidity can follow rainy weather. If this occurs, FGT may need to issue an Overage Alert Day to maintain reliable levels of linepack.”

Citing gas quality issues at its interconnect with Sabine Pipe Line at Henry Hub, Gulf South said Monday it was unable to make physical deliveries to the hub. “Gulf South will not schedule any nominated delivery volumes that exceed the nominated receipt volumes from the Henry Hub until further notice,” the pipeline added.

Maritimes & Northeast U.S. (M&N) said due to an outage to tie in the new Woodchopping Ridge Compressor Station, it has restricted all forward-haul nominations flowing through Baileyville Compressor Station to zero. M&N also has restricted to zero all backhaul nominations flowing from the U.S. through Baileyville to Canada. The restrictions began Sunday and were extended at least through Tuesday.

TransCanada said an unplanned outage at the East Hereford Compressor Station made it unable to authorize all discretionary service nominations requesting delivery to East Hereford. All firm service nominations were fully authorized, the pipeline said, adding, “Until this unplanned outage has been resolved, discretionary service nominations may not be fully authorized on subsequent gas day and nomination cycles.” It did not know when the outage would be resolved.
