While extending an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers into its fourth straight day Thursday, Florida Gas Transmission tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 25% to 15%.

ANR said Wednesday it had completed a survey of its Calcasieu River crossing in southwest Louisiana and found no damage from Tropical Storm Edouard. All associated capacity restrictions for the SE 1 D (C MEADOWS)-CFTP segment of the Cameron Meadows Lateral have been lifted, ANR said, and it has resumed accepting nominations at the Stingray, Barracuda and Johnson Bayou meters.

Southern California Gas said it has lost 50 MMcf/d of injection capacity for an undetermined length of time at its Honor Ranch storage field due to repairs that started Wednesday of an inboard gas cooling fan leak on the facility’s Unit #5.

CenterPoint reported that for some time it has been experiencing quality problems with gas delivered by MarkWest from its Woodford Gathering System into CenterPoint’s Line AD-East in Hughes County, OK. “Specifically, MarkWest’s gas has from time to time contained high levels of objectionable solids, including, but not limited to, black powder and oil,” CenterPoint said. Because of the potential for damage to CenterPoint facilities, including the Chandler Compressor Station just downstream of the MarkWest receipt point, CenterPoint said it has been forced to reduce quantities at the point to 100,000 Dth/d. “This decision was made after consulting with, and obtaining the concurrence of, MarkWest,” CenterPoint said. When MarkWest remedies its quality problems and CenterPoint performs any necessary cleanup and/or repair of facilities, the pipeline estimates that it might be able to receive gas in excess of 100,000 Dth/d again. The earliest that might occur would be Sunday, CenterPoint said.

Reminding shippers of an earlier notice about not being able to make deliveries to ANR-Eunice due to the Eunice Gas Processing Plant not being able to accept deliveries from Aug. 1 until Aug. 16 (see Daily GPI, Aug. 1), TGT said it must also exclude taking receipts at ANR-Eunice until the plant downtime ends.
