Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Thursday, setting penalties of $1/Dth for positive daily imbalances exceeding a 7% tolerance.

A day after ending a realignment OFO affecting northbound flows through its Meacham Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, June 25), Northwest will reinstate the OFO effective Thursday until further notice. Northwest said it took the action because net scheduled northbound quantities through Meacham for Wednesday’s gas day in the Timely nominations cycle were 462,000 Dth/d, which exceeded the station’s operational capacity of 440,000 Dth/d. “[S]hipper feedback indicates nominations are likely to exceed capacity in the absence of an OFO,” the pipeline said.

Due to an outage at Houma Compressor Station, Columbia Gulf reduced the Atchafalaya Constraint Point in South Louisiana to a total capacity of 119,000 Dth/d Wednesday until further notice.

Tennessee said three additional offshore meters upstream of the Grand Chenier Plant were allowed to resume flow Wednesday due to continued progress on the installation of inlet and outlet metering at the plant. See the bulletin board for details.
