CIG said Friday an OFO begun Nov. 11 (see Daily GPI, Nov. 11) and regarding FT imbalances andand limitations on storage injections would remain in effect throughthe weekend. Based on the latest weather forecasts, CIG anticipatesbeing able to lift the OFO Tuesday. A new bulletin board posting todaywill update the OFO status.

Northern Natural Gas declared a force majeure effective withThursday’s gas day until further notice in connection withunplanned maintenance on Unit #27 at its Beatrice CompressorStation. Depending on weather and markets, curtailments below firmentitlement levels may be necessary.

To reduce the need for OFO enforcement, Northwest isimplementing capacity allocation changes that will cut any newintraday nominations that exceed the capacity limit of an affectedpoint or corridor. The changes will become effective Dec. 1. Seethe pipeline’s bulletin board for details.

Florida Gas Transmission had notified customers previously thatits new on-line system, called Transportation Management System,would be available for December nominations Saturday (Nov. 20).However, due to continuing testing of the system, FGT has askedthat TMS nominations be held back until Wednesday of this week.Those who have previously submitted TMS nominations with Dec. 1data should resubmit them beginning Wednesday, the pipeline said.

Public Service Co. of Colorado and Cheyenne (WY) Light Fuel andPower again extended their refusal to accept imbalance payback gas(see Daily GPI, Nov. 18) at leastthrough today’s gas day. The payback restriction, which began Nov. 4,will continue beyond today if operational constraints related to warmweather aren’t alleviated, the two utilities said.
