Maritimes & Northeast U.S. (M&N) said Tuesday night it had learned that the Sable Offshore Energy Inc. production facility offshore Nova Scotia experienced a decrease in production during the April 29 gas day. However, on Wednesday morning M&N reported that output at the Sable facility had returned to normal levels and it lifted an associated restriction on imbalances.

Due to a Department of Transportation-mandated outage between the Petroleos Mexicanos system at the Texas-Mexican border and its Santa Fe Compressor Station, Texas Eastern will restrict six meters in South Texas to zero flow for Thursday’s gas day. See the bulletin board for a list of the meters.

Based on current operating conditions in the Southwest Gathering Area and along the Southwest Mainline, ANR said Wednesday it is lifting its restriction on Secondary receipts in those areas (see Daily GPI, April 29). However, Firm Secondary deliveries as well as Interruptible receipts and deliveries will continue to not be scheduled until further notice. ANR also said it began unplanned engine repairs Wednesday at its Joliet (IL) Compressor Station, which reduces the total available NGPL-Joliet Interconnect capacity to 90,000 Dth/d through May 9. Based on current nominations, it is anticipated that the reduction may result in the curtailment of IT and Firm Secondary nominations, the pipeline said.
