Southern Natural Gas will implement an OFO Type 6 for short imbalances Friday. Tiered penalties will apply to shippers who run negative imbalances exceeding 2% or 200 Dth, whichever is greater. Southern said it is highly likely that the OFO will be extended through at least Saturday.

After reducing a System Overrun Limitation (SOL) for all three market-area zones to just Zone EF Thursday, Northern Natural Gas said no SOL will be in effect Friday.

Pacific Gas & Electric will allow a systemwide Stage 2 low-inventory OFO to lapse Friday after it had been in effect for two days.

Starting Friday Northwest will limit withdrawals from Questar‘s Clay Basin storage facility to 125,000 Dth/d until further notice. The restriction is necessary to reduce the liquids flowing from Clay Basin into its system, Northwest said. It will make the withdrawal capacity cuts based upon shippers rights at Clay Basin. Northwest said it hopes to avoid any further reduction, but additional restrictions could become necessary.

NOVA reported the completion of temporary repairs to a line break on the 16-inch diameter Flat Lake Lateral Extension (see Daily GPI, Jan. 29) and said flows have been restored at the Prosperity and Flat Lake North meter stations. Final repairs and investigations will be completed at a later date, NOVA said.

ANR completed engine maintenance at Sandwich (IL) Compressor Station and lifted all capacity restrictions for locations north of the station.
