PG&E called a system-wide OFO with a 7% tolerance for gasday Saturday, Nov. 6, due to high inventory and forecasted highinventory for Sunday and today as well. The OFO called was Stage Iwith a $1.00/Dth noncompliance charge.

Florida Gas Transmission will be conducting compressormaintenance at Transco St. Helena, DRN No. 99003 in Pine Grove, LA,gas days today and Tuesday. Volumes allowed during this maintenancewindow will be 18,000 MMBtu/d. Maintenance will be completed andvolume restrictions lifted gas day Wednesday.

Kern River advised shippers of revised scheduled maintenance byWilliams Energy (Field) Services for November. Volumes flowing toKern River from the Opal receipt point may be affected. Tuesdaythrough Friday Williams will be replacing an engine on the BigPiney Booster at the inlet of the Opal Plant. The anticipateddowntime will be 72 hours. The engine replacement is to improvethe efficiencies with TXP-I and prepare for the addition of a thirdTurbo Expander (TXP-III).

Tuesday through Friday, Nov. 19, Williams will be performing ashutdown on the No. 1 Turbo Expander (TXP-I) at the Opal Plant toinstall piping and equipment to increase processing efficiencies.Anticipated downtime — 248 hours or10 « days).

Also, Tuesday through Friday Williams will perform quarterlymaintenance on each of the four Saddle Ridge Units (Big Piney).This work was originally scheduled for Nov. 23. The anticipateddowntime will be 24 hours for each unit. The estimated volumeimpact and nomination cuts will be a result of the TXP-I and BigPiney Booster maintenance.

The estimated volume loss Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 18, is100%, Opal non-guaranteed impact; 9%, Opal guaranteed. Friday, Nov.19, the estimated loss is 23%, Opal non-guaranteed impact; 3% Opalguaranteed. Supply nominations will be cut at wellhead. Gas willneed to be shut-in during this maintenance.

As of last Friday and continuing through gas day Thursday, KNInterstate has unplanned maintenance scheduled at CIG/KNI Weld (PINNo. 6997) in Weld County, CO. The work will require that the pointbe on zero flow. KN will not schedule any nominations during thisoutage.

Algonquin Gas Transmission has been working on the 30-inch mainlineon the suction side of the Hanover Station, conducting pipereplacement and compressor work (see Daily GPI, Nov. 2). Work is expected to be completedThursday. Due to forecast weather and the subsequent expected demand,Algonquin said it will restrict all scheduled due-shipper make-up fromSunday, Nov. 7, through Thursday. No other capacity restrictions areexpected.
